Day 12 - Catania Children’s Emergency Department

Today got the better of Nate and he needed some help to breath. He was fine with the right medicine and I got to stay at the Villa with G’ma and my cousins.

Nate must have been ok, G’ma and G’pa looked after us in the evening so that mummy and daddy could go out with cousins❤️

Day 13 - Etna

A day on a bus to check out Mt Etna

We jumped on a bus today and went as high up Mt Etna as the roads go. It is really strange walking on the volcanic rocks and being higher up than most trees can grow.

There were some really tricky parts on the walk and my cousin Ramaya tripped over had some bad grazes on her knees, arm and hands, but she is one tough little cookie and just brushed it off to continue the walk!

Day 14 - Last day at the Villa & Winery Day!

What a beautiful day for our last day at the villa.
I decided to stay at the villa with my cousins while most of the family went to visit a winery on Mt Etna for lunch. Natey had fun checking out the winery and enjoying pasta.

To say goodbye we had a special family dinner outside.

Day 15 - Heading home

Wow, we left the villa at 5am in the dark for flight 1, Catania to Rome...

Short stop in Rome airport before jumping on the next flight from Rome to Abu Dhabi then a few hours in that airport before the flight home to SIngapore.

How lucky am I with a special big seat for the last leg! Best flight ever.

We got off the flight home about 9.30 and back home at about 10.30...

Day 11 - Riposto

Mummy and Daddy went on a 58km (4700ft elevation) bike ride around the Mt Etna area, Moio Alcantara. Daddy nearly rode into a bull at 40km/hour. Neither Mummy or Daddy could walk or sit when they came home. I spent the day at the villa playing with Aunty Courtney, Natey and my cousins.
